I love making this creamy chocolate mousse all the time. I have it with fresh berries or on its own for breakfast, snack or dessert. The main ingredient is avocado which makes it creamy and fluffy. And the best thing is that you won’t even know that you are actually eating avocado as it really tastes so chocolaty!
Makes: 1 small mason jar or any other glass with a lid
Preparation time: 10 minutes
– 2 ripe avocados
– 2 tbsp maple syrup
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– 1 tbsp cocoa powder
– 1 tsp vanilla essence
Scoop out the avocado flesh and process it together with almond milk, vanilla essence and maple syrup in a blender. Add cocoa powder and mix until well combined and fluffy. Serve with your favourite fruit or store in the airtight container in the fridge. It will last up to 3 days.
